Hi, I want to access the back of the PCB but the screw mounting the pcb and the back plate is secured by the hot glue (or screw glue?), what do you guys do to remove them? unscrew them by force?

Thanks

Usually, you can do that. I've had to 'cut' the glue from around the screw head in a few cases. Be sure and use the correct size phillips head screwdriver - too big or too small and you stand a good chance of stripping it.
