I have an RM100 head. I run it very high gain with an UltraXL module (playing metal). I have a Rocktron Hush going into the parallel loop to keep the amp quiet.

I want to use some pedals as well. But I want them in the loop. And I want to be able to take them in and out for leads.

Can I use both loops at the same time?

Is there a way to switch loops on and off with a pedal?

Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering the same thing , I'd like to put my korg tuner into a effectsloop (guess parallel would the best)

Both loops can be used at the same time but unfotunately no way to switch FX loops in and out..you'd need external switching to do that :-/

If you're running a tuner I'd have thought the Slave Out would be best place for it (line output designed for driving another power amp I think)

I have a Randall RM4 so no slave out , got the pre loop out , series & parallel effects loop and the post effect loop to drive my stereo poweramp

Well here's my dilemma... let me know if you have any ideas:

I have a Hush/gate in one loop that needs to run constantly. I'm going to put some analog pedals in the other loop (with that line leveler ebtech thing). The pedals will operate as a whole group (ie. I won't need to pick different effects at different times.. either they're all on or all off).
Is there any way to effectively achieve this? I would like to avoid rack multieffects because I like the way pedals sound. But I would like them to operate through the loop like they ought to (Delay and eq).

If you use a looper pedal you will be able to bypass all the effects with one stomp and take them out of the signal path.

Btw, don't put noise gates in the parallel loop. Even with the effects knob maxed out that loop will not act like a serial loop.

I have one of those red Boss looper pedals that came with my BCB case...all the pedals are connected in a loop into the one switcher pedal, it also has 9V power chain...something like this would work but I'm sure there may be better made products on the market

How do you like that Rocktron Hush? I was thinking of getting some sort of noise gate for my Mr. Scary.

It's amazing.. and necessary for me. I'm playing my amp so hot that a ridiculous amount of noise is created. And the Hush takes care of that lickity split. Although I do almost have to max it out in my case.

Sorry. I get the names mixed up. It's in the Serial loop.
