Since the "new" modular line won't be done for a while, I'm thinking of making a small run of our "normal" dual sound modules to fill requests for them. The only ones that will NOT be available will be T/T, D/D or T/D because they use a different circuit board. Delivery time will be about 5-6 weeks. Price per module will be $375.00 (includes ground shipping in US). Only doing a small quantity so you must prepay to get in on this group. Please email me at [email protected] if interested.

All hail Bruce Almighty! Thanks, Bruce!! One of my friends went to NAMM this year and took a picture of you for me because I'm such an MTS nut lol REALLY looking forward to the "new" modular stuff from you, and will be fully on board once you release it!

I don't suppose you could post a teaser of what the new modular line will consist of. Just curious. It would be cool to see an E2 or M4 with an ISP Decimator circuit built in..
...E2...E2....E2....Please? :D

Bruuuuuuuce! That is super news. Along with the news from Ian that Egnater will modify my RM100 into a MOD 100 in the next month or so. I'm quite happy. I think it's about time the logo in the top left corner or the forum be changed to Egnater.

Yes! Thank you! I've said it since I finally got my hands on a Mod 50....I'm Egnater Modular for life! Will the "new" modular line be significantly different from current 2-channel platform, anyone?

Is the new modular line, new modules or a new type of modular system? Either way, looking forward to Bruce focusing on this innovative amp line!

To be honest it's only nice for the donor module market.
The 10 Salvation modules I have heard and tested so far beats
the **** out of the Egnater modules. No doubt at all.
If Egnater want's to keep the soul alive make a pcb board donation ;-)

Although, I agree with you on the fact Anthony's mods sound better to me than stock. I have to disagree because that's like saying the only reason it's nice for Marshall to be around is so that they can make donor amps for Trace Davis, Mark Cameron and Mike Fortin because their modifications kick the crap out of a stock Marshall (which they do, 10 fold). There's always a market for stock gear.

I so disagree with you on this it is ridiculous! Maybe the Egnater modules you tried didn't work for you...have you tried any? Which ones? I've tried them all except the T/D and D/D and have only kept the Bman and EG3/4. That's what works for me. I like my salvation mods but they don't touch my Egnater's for my taste. We all seek what we seek and it's great to have options.

Let's keep it real here
Bruce doesn't work for the Modders (or us)
If you need a donor module, you're gonna have to buy an 'off the shelf' one and have it changed

It's not like Ford is gonna supply you with a chassis so you can build your own Coachwork on it, you're gonna have to buy a whole car first

Since 2006 I have all dual Egnater modules. Also most of the Randall ones. Since 2011 modules from Salvation.
It's my personal opinion Randall and Egnater modules have a 'signature' brand sound that starts to annoy over a while. A few friends in The Netherlands we did a meeting and they feel the same.
We concluded Salvation pushes the design way further than Egnater and Randall did. Also some Randall modules kill the Egnater ones (Plexi, JTM, Tweed) Salvation mods sound more authentic and are more refined.
Bruce invented a great system, thanks a lot!
New guys pushed the design limits already. I don't see the need for releasing 'old' Egnater modules design wise. For me it's 'the past'.
New customers it's great they can buy Egnaters of course.

I agree that Salvation, Jaded Faith, etc have pushed the design further but I'm also pretty sure Bruce is more than capable of upping the ante as well.

That said, maybe those of us that have tired all the Egnater mods might suggest some improvements we'd like to see if Bruce is going to release a new batch.

For example, I've owned and sold an Erect twice; I like the sound but it has issues with a flubby low end. It sounds good for rhythm but lacks something for leads especially when you resolve on lower notes. Both channels are identical on this one, perhaps voicing the B channel more for solos would be more useful.

Sure one of the moders could make that change for me but why would I pay 375 for a module to spend another 150 to mod it. I'll bet if Bruce says here is the new updated version of module X people would be in the same feeding frenzy Rob just had with the Platinum.

Really? If you're not interested in Bruce's mods- Fine...its a matter of taste but this is a RIDICULOUS and ignorant statement. Anthony's work is AWESOME but so is Bruce's and they are catering to different markets.

To Bruce- THANK YOU for keeping that door open and many of us look forward to your "next generation" of modular. Will there be any single channels available? I would be interested in E4 or E5 singles.... :D

FYI, this group of modules will have the front panel midrange voicing switch that was removed from the line long ago.

That's kind of cool.

This seems like a really good opportunity for you to pick up some more dual-channel modules, Drew ;)

Bruce, does this offer extend to the production of single-channel modules, also? I haven't been able to pick up an M4/MOD amp yet, so I'm stuck using single-channels. I've always wanted to try the SL2X!

Bruce, small suggestion in regards to the new modular line:

I'd *strongly* recommend approaching Anthony from Salvation Mods and Rob from Jaded Faith mods (if you haven't already) in regards to having them potentially assist in the development of new modules for the new line. They have already done SO much to continue to develop and innovate the line when Randall all but abandoned it. It's because of them (and the other modders) that most of us have continued to support and spend so much money on the MTS line. If you could get them into the fold, and the new line was marketed properly, I don't imagine there would be any result but success for everyone involved :)

Would it be cool if we added a switch to be able to select either channel for use with Randall single channel amps or RM4? This would make it so you can use either one of the Egnater dual channel sounds with your Randall gear. You would still NOT be able to switch on both channels of the dual modules from the foot pedal or with MIDI but you could preset either one of the channels to be used.
