I have a RM50 Lynch Box with the 8ohm Eminence speaker. I have a 1x12 8ohm cabinet I want to hook up to it. Will I set the ohm switch to 4ohms? Thanks.

You mean you want to run an external cab together with your combo amp? Yes, 4 ohms if you wire the speakers in parallell.[/list]

So, I only have have 1 1x12 speaker that I will connect to the ext. jack on the back of my amp. Isn't there only one way to wire a 1 speaker cab? I guess my question is, when I connect the ext. cab to the amps ext. jack, does this make this a parallel situation. If so, then I will use the 4ohm setting.
