I know Bruce has invented a solution to this problem of running pedals in the series loop of the RM100....I've been searching high and lo on this site and haven't found much so pardon my just asking a question that's been addressed a million times....+1

I just wanna run my ISP Deci GString into my series loop....Are there solutions? And yes, I know the ebtech thingys...I'm just asking if a Boss pedal or something would help? I'm brain-dead today and know there's something around here I can use until I hook into the next GCX (buffered) setup for live stuff....

The Ebtech stuff sucks tone, because it's passive. You need to lower signal for the pedal in and make up gain for the return, a passive unit cannot do it right.

Bruce has a solution or the GLab ALA-1 works great too.

I actually just bought an ebtech for my pedalboard in my rm100 (which includes a Gstring decimator), Ive heard from many reputable sources that they work just fine with hardly any noticeable tonal differences. Ill know for sure in a few days. FYI I got it new in box for $35 off ebay. Figured i'd try it for the price, and if I think it wont work then Ill get bruce's active level shifter solution.

You have to work with dbV. not just a clean boost from a boss pedal which is just db boost.

Radial is born for these tasks.

btw the EXTC is made for this, balanced->guitar>balanced with extra send and return volume control. This way you can be sure to send a signal to the pedal and control how hard the signal hits the pedal (useful)...

ps I hope that's what u mean
