One module crackling/losing gain intermittently?

Hi all,

what is usually the problem if sometimes one of the modules intermittently loses gain/volume and you can fix it by wiggling the casing of the module or the fixing screws?

Should I clean the contacts or is it usually something else that creates this?

So far I could always fix it by wiggling a bit and it's only one of my modules, but I'd rather know what it is and fix it.

Pots or tubes.

Thanks! Yeah probably the gain pot. Put some deoxit and wiggled. Seems to be better now.

What do I need to order as replacement for a JTM module?

The stock pot is a A1M 16mm pot from Alpha.
