I was told by a friend to check out a guy who calls himself Bulb on youtube. There were some cool songs on there and I checked his band out on myspace. The band is Periphery. They do some different stuff. Thought some of you might like to hear some new fresh stuff. I love their sound, and style. Very cool.

Misha "Bulb" Mansoor

He used to post on the Line 6 POD forums which is where I heard of him. Awesome tone from a POD XT. He's using real amps now but still recording out of his house. I'm always amazed at the engineering of his recordings.

I can't wait for the full album release. The sound is a lot like Meshuggah.
