So you don't use a power amp and speaker cab?
I looked up Joe Meek 3Q/Compressor to see what it was. The manual says:
So you are running directly into the board? How does that sound?
At least for home recording, I never liked recording distorted guitars direct because I didn't like the fizzy tone. Do you eq that out?

Actually much more of a basic tone than it appears, no time based fx- that only gets mucked up unless your drumme ris working off of a click
That Bass Wah is awesome, auto switch off, Q & volume control- this is a secret weapon!
I had a fulltone choralflange, I miss it sometimes, maybe I'll add a delay unit for my loop, but I like to keep it as simple as possible to keep the great tone Randall delvers

I run the preamp into a crate powerblock head right now...until i can pick up something better.....sounds good though. I run a direct out from the powerblock (speaker emulating) to the sound console, and also to an orange 2x12 cab for stage sound.
