I think thats going to be trial and error.
Is yours really "boomy" at the bottom end?
I have to cut the bass a lot to get rid of it.
Also - do you have a nasty AC hum even when the level is right off?
I love this setting, gives me a real warm sounding overdrive, Im also running an alesis Midiverb 4, so I have the reverb on the amp turned all the way down, you you might want to put it at like 2 or 3.
Im also running a Rocktron Hush Super C noise gate, so if noice doesn't bother you keep the gain at 10 but if it does might want to turn it down to about 7.5 or 8.

and a touch of reverb, this is what i call a ******* setting as it makes my guitar cut right through gigs and recordings so it sounds nice and in your face, people dont realise how heavy a dash of mids can be
