RF4 not changing channels

Well, the RF4 FINALLY arrived, but I'm having a bit of a problem: the footswitch LED's are on and the buttons work, but it doesn't change the channel on my RM4. I got my RM4 used, so no manual... Does anyone know what's going on? Is there some setting that needs to be changed? I can change channels manually with the "channel" button on the front of the RM4.

I found the manual online and figured out I needed to save each module to a footswitch channel . Problem solved

go to the back and push all the mini swithes down (should be "All On")push switch 1 on the pedal,now on the rm4 push the channel button til the first mod lights up,now push the channel button and hold for about 3 seconds.the led should blink off then back on the mod.do the same push pedal 2 and repeat. should do the trick.i have an Egnater M4 and that works for me.if u use a midi pedal u can do the same thing 1-128 channels holding the channel button matches the mod with the pedal.

Thanks for the reply. The RM4 doesn't give an indication that the module is saved to a footswitch preset, but it works. The wonders of MIDI...

so u are all setup then? works the same as the Egnater M4 dual channel,except it flashes the mod led of the channel ur on.glad it worked for u.
