RM100 blows 3 HT fuses, and then 1 more during gig.

What is the problem with the amp? I already changed them to 310mA fuses to avoid the common problem with blowing HT fuses. My tubes are less than a year old and used primarily for studio work although I crank the amp to 5-7 most of the time.

What causes this? Changed the fuses now and it is working, but I hear a loud short hiss (like a wave at sea) before powerup from standby.

Tube problem you think?

I blew a fuse from plugging my pedal in after the amp was on. I don't know if that's relevant or not, but make sure you don't do that!

You probably have a defective tube...although you don't say what your bias is at either..maybe that's too hot ...

These are the fuses on the back of the amp?

My Lynch Box says 400 ma on it for those fuses.

That's strange man...I've had a couple of these heads and never had an issue with fuses. Godamn though....you never know what kind of situation you're gonna run into at the clubs though. Are you using a power conditioner?
