Hi felow MTSers,

Just wondering if someone would be good enough to direct me to where the fuse is that regulates the phantom power for external MIDI pedals (when using the 7 pin MIDI jacks)?

My phantom power stopped working the other day, I did not hot plug anything MIDI, just didn't come on when I powered up the rack, got the midi pedal working via a power adapter for now.

I have the unit 's cover off and the midi board loosened. I see a long row of fuses that all seem in tact.
Is the fuse in question different looking/soldered to the board, etc??

I'm all ready to fix....just don't know how....any help would be appreciated.

Thanx in advance for any feedback on this.

Hey man,

Check this topic out:

The fuse for the midi board is on the board itself.
So that needs replacing, I'd recommend replacing it with the resetting fuse like outlined in that thread.
There's also directions on how to prevent this from happening by modifying the RF4 / RF3.

No problem, I stumbled onto this one earlyer ;)
There are so many topics on this, that one should really be stickied.
