I picked one of these up...it was on the floor of a local music shop where I eyeballed it; 3 years later it was discounted down to 275 and I had to pick it up.
It's a decent cab- the 15 is a cool addition, but honestly not as huge an impact as you might think. I can get more usable tone dialing the density as high as I want, and I play a lot of detuned dropA stuff, so I imagine it works well for that. But I have a Mesa 2x12 oversized vertical that sounds great on many of the same tunings, so it's not a necessity
I did dump my Marshall 1960av w/ v30s after going to cabinet war for a few weeks, the randall just sounded meaner and the Marshall sounded like the typical mid friendly Marsahll tones we all know.
I've been mic'ing up the 125 lately for my main tones, so yes, good cab...but the prices of used cabs are so cheap these days on CList I'd advise on picking up a great deal rather than targeting one brand at retail prices. I've seen Peavey 5150 cabs go for 150 :shock:
