RT2/50 tubes

I just bought the RT2/50 to go with my RM4. I was using a Marshall 9100 power amp but I wasn't totally satisfied with the tone I was getting. I got the RT2/50 used and it came with a defective tube. I'm going to change it and the fuse but I would like to know for sure if the outside tubes are for channel 1 and inside tubes for channel 2.

Looking at the RT2/50 from the back, the pair on the left is channel 1, the pair on the right is channel 2. They are not inside/outside on that unit.

Thanks Jaded, I guess I got confused with the RM100 witch I think is inside/outside or the other way arouund.

I'm quite sure that looking from the back the right tube pair is channel 1 and the left pair is channel 2.

That would make sense. Anyway, I'm running a pair of EL34 and a pair of 5881, so I will be able to hear the difference between both channels, as long as the tubes are side by side, not inside/out.
