You should give the 1666 a try.
It?s versatile like the 1086, but much better sounding and heavier.

I think listening to soundclips is very nice, but you need to play that thing on your own to realy get a "feel" for it.
I really love to hear hyeniks clips, but I swear the modules sound different, when I play them

Just bought a used one. Sounds Great & different than the Dead Plate in the scooped mid voicing mode. I really like the low - mid gain tones on the Plexi voicing. Backing down the gain & hitting the Gain Beast switch reminds me of a thicker JCM 800 voicing. Best of both Marshalls.
