Great stuff. I keep thinking I need one of these, but I'm concerned it may be too similar to the Chupacabra. Has anyone played both?

Isn't the Cupacagra a descendant of the 1666? If so, that is light years apart- no overlap there

Yes, The Cupacabra is very similar to the 1666.

I've not heard of the Chupa having Mark blood in it.
But it could, since it is a design by Anthony, with some inspiration from a whole lotta circuits..
We're going to have to wait on Anthony's call on that.

I have a Chupacabra and when I was talking to Anthony about my current batch of modules he is creating for me, I asked about the 1666. He told me not to get it because the Chupacabra was pretty much a hot rodded variation, with more options, of the 1666.

Okay, well that's that then

Eventually I want some br00tal mods like those.
But at the moment I first need to go for what I will use all of the time
So I have no experience with them yet.

I believe Anthony stated at one point that the Chupacabra circuit was influenced in part by the Mark II. Still, it could be a minor influence.

There is NO connection between Chupacabra and MarkUs.
These are so different sounds as two higains can be.

I finally got a Salvation MarkUs module today in the mail thanks to three way trade with cold Machine and c2ply and all I can say is WOW!

This module is amazing, so versatile and like all Anthony's mods I've tried thus far - dead on! I can't wait to get some dedicated playing time with it tomorrow
