About my rig and the need to have a simple setup/tear down along with weight (1 back surgery and hernia surgery next month) issues. Then I got to thinking about the RM12.
The thing that makes the RT2/50 so heavy is the transformers which need to be huge to handle the different possible tube combinations.
So if you scale down the RM12 to a RM4 or RM6 and a smaller transformer to handle only EL34's or 6L6's how much weight savings would there be? How many rack spaces?
Anyone else into this idea?
Thinking a RM6 with a Gmajor, maybe some pedals and a Randall 2x12 with a mic eliminator and it's roll in hook up 2 cables and you're rockin' the night away.
