I saw the pic of the prototype - so badass!!!!

Now that we've decided not to move and the wife is on assignment I'm busting out the Mod50 and the rest of my stuff Vai module is coming out just in time to fuel my GAS!!

Very cool - can't wait to hear some demos by other folks.
For some reason, Vai sounds (to me) like he has his electric sound blended with an acoustic piezo when he's playing clean.

With the 'Signature' moniker under the brand logo, I hope that means there will be other artists having custom modules made.

I went to Vai's guitar camp over the summer and he was using that Synergy module. It sounded awesome. He demoed it side by side with his Carvin Legacy preamp pedal, and even though the sounds were similar, the Synergy sounded better and even Vai stated so. Until it is released, there's always an option to go with the Carvin preamp.

Hope so but haven't heard what the price will be. $400 is already steep so I'll cross my fingers that it is the same price as the rest of the modules. I'm surprised it hasn't been released yet since Vai has had one for at least 6 months. Wonder if he's still tweaking it. Will definitely have to get one!
