Weak noise at the first 5 minutes...

Hi there Randall freaks. I am an owner of a Rwndall T2 head. It's not more than 4 months since I bought it and it's not used in any live, only at home at low volumes. The last days, everytime I start it up, both of the distortion channels, have almost no sound! Just an interrupting low noise, for about five minutes. Then it starts up normally, bu this is a very annoying situation, you know... Did anyone of you had a similar problem? You think that the tubes is the problem? Shall I buy new ones? If yes, can you suggest me some of them? I'm new in Randall and I'd like to use some of your experience. Thank you very much...

speak to Randall's tech support and do what they say. You could re-tube it but if it isn't the tubes, then you've just outlayed like ?60 just to test it. If they don't say, 'send it back to the factory' they might send you a set of tubes to try it yourself...

it could possibly be a bad phase inverter tube
