I came across a few forum posts where people were talking about a Framus Cobra styled module. Whats this about? Is this a custom job or something in the works at Randall??

Ah, I wasn't gonna let the cat outta the bag yet but just had to chime in here. Salvation is currently working his magic to build me a Framus Cobra clone! Might be the first Cobra mod here.

I have a serious aversion to using pedals in front, so he's adding an extra gain boost. I also play articulate metal so he's making sure its going to be pretty tight.

Well, stay tuned and I'll throw some clips and pics when its ready. I can't wait for it to be ready!

Yes, Yes, Yes! Exactly!

i also had a tremendous abhorrence for overdrive pedals up front. until i came across one that made my amp sound so good it made me **** in my pants.

Which pedal is that? I am always on the look out for new OD pedals! 8)

I too would like to see a Cobra Module. I owned and hated a cobra but I know more about "dialing" a tone now.

My Pete Modded XTC with a JRC Chipped TS9 sounds like GOD!

I got a Maxon 808 coming on Friday...That will surely kick ***.

I've heard great things about the Maxon 808 but haven't used it.

If I can get an awesome tone with a pedal less (even if it costs extra to get a mod), I would rather go for a mod.

I saw Pete XTC clips on youtube and was blown away...wow, what a tone! :D
