So I've had my Rectified module for awhile now. Now, I've never actually played through a Dual Rec, but the sound isn't exactly what I was expecting. It sounds REALLY good, but missing a bit of crunch, and has bit more compression than I'm used to. When I think of rectifier tones I think of...

I believe it's photopaper that is stuck directly on, and then sprayed with lacquer. I'm going to be trying a new graphic soon myself.

I'd probably check the preamp tubes. The XL has TONS of gain on tap. It actually has more of that Mesa Boogie like heaviness than my Rectified module. It's probably one of the best stock high gain modules that I've found.

I agree with Greg. The market is pretty sketchy now and days, and it seems everybody and their mother are designing new tube amps. The boutique fad is still going strong and more and more players are thinking they have to spend $3,000 on an amp to get a tone that you can probably get in a $150...

Bump for Pete. I have a friend who used one of these for his main rig and it sounds REALLY good. I dont know much about them, or how he dialed it in but he has some great tones :D

The seller just got another good feedback hit, so it seems as if he's legit. I just sent him an email asking for the pics from his camera phone. Wouldn't mind grabbin' a combo. I'm still waiting for my RT2/50 to arrive though! :P
