Can a Module be out of phase?

Interesting.....I run 2 rm4's into an RT/250 (through a Radial A/B-Y box with a phase switch), into 2 Randall 212's.
I run both RM4's simultaneously and blend both amps together....
In any 2 module combination, I get perfect imaging live and "recorded" panned left and right.....but I have 1 module (an SL+) that throws the imaging "out of phase".
It does not matter which bay it's in (or in either RM4)....whenever this SL+ module is selected and in combination with any other module from the 2nd RM, I have the "phasing issues".....if I flip the phase switch on the Radial, the phasing is corrected and every other module is then "out of phase".

My question is; Is it possible for a module to be "reversed" in this manner and how would one get it corrected if so.....
Any help would be great!
Thanks in advance.

This is possible. You have to weigh a couple things:

* do you change modules in the middle of songs frequently and does that change involve the SL+? If not, no problem.

* how much money do you have? if the above does not involve the SL+ how much does it cost to flip the phase switch?

I have one pedal when I record I need to use a ground lift after it.

Unfortunately, the Radial switcher is built into the back end of the rack unit and is not easily accessible in any situation.
The rest of the unit is automated via MIDI so changing the "phase" switch isn't really an option....and I do like to use the SL+ module quite a bit (it sounds great blended with the Super V).

I suppose then the fix may end up being a trip for the SL+ into a service center to have it checked......bummer. I'm not as adept at the physical make up of these units but had suspitions that it was possible the module could just be suffering from a reversed wiring issue somewhere within itself. I guess I was hoping for a faster DIY remedy if anyone knew of this issue happening previously.

Thanx for the feedback.

Some of the modules will be out of phase with others. The higher gain ones have an extra tube stage in the path that does reverse the phase. I have seen gadgets (loop switchers) where you can store the phase settings also. ask Dave friedman at racksystems. He will be able to help.

I run mulitple modules together as well and needed a phase reverse box. Run it in my looper so it's only on when I need it.

Perfect! Thank you.....
I'll look up Mr. Friedman and see if I can get my hands on such a unit.

I've had the same problem but not with a module. My 6505+ had one more gain stage than my marshall. If I recorded them and simply reamped the phase problem would be very noticeable and I'd need to flip phase on one of them. It's more of a pain for stereo rigs.
