Lynchbox 100 footswitch

Hi guys, I just bought a Lynchbox 100 and am psyched to try out all the mods that are available! I'm looking for a footswitch and I see that Randall makes a midi 3-button footswich... here's a link...

Do I really need midi for channel switching? Is this the one I should get?

Yes, you really need MIDI. You don't have to use that switch, you can use any MIDI controller....but that switch will be the simplest option.
