Anyone knows if Randall/Egnater has plans for new modules in the future? aren't they supposed come up with new ones like Engl & Deizel? it was mentioned on the namm show '09(?) when RM22 was introduced?

Look for the Scott Ian modules thread. It doesnt look too promising right now. All looks like its on hold or just over. I would love to see more too. Modded modules seem to be the sure thing these days on getting a module that is a clone. Which cost the same or less than a new module anyways.

Salvation has a deal with Randall now to get new modules for modifications, so that's probably as close as we'll get to Randall having any part in new modifications. At least for a while...

Im cool with no new Randall/egnater modules as long as donors are still available...There are sme cool randall modules, but the modded modules are ultimately the best anyway and what most of us wind up with....

The NAMM 09 announcements were right before the ownership change...Ultra Curve, Nuno, who knows how many other designs were scrapped?

Luckily we have great modders or this line would be extinct

I meant "Modules" on the title NOT models  so mods are the way to go for now?

stock Grail is cool...but a few people are offering the mods you seek. Stock is ok, but modded mods are awesome 8)

Close enough if you ask me :D

They were "working" on Orange, Diezel and Engl modules, but those are not happening. (At least, not the way they were planning).

A prototype exists of the Ultra Curve, someone on the forum has it (and it's on sale I believe).
But besides that it isn't going into production, too expensive to make and not enough money to be earned I guess.
There's also a prototype of the Nuno module, this is a pretty advanced circuit, it is at Anthony now for R&D after some other modding guys took a look at it.

Then there are the Scott Ian modules, which seem pretty good. :D They've stepped it up with the tones and design there.
So if you want more new modules, buy those, vote with your wallet. ;)
They won't create more just because it's "cool" .. they will create and produce what sells.

Also yes there is the donor deal, which is pretty cool.
With that and the new metal faceplates, Salvation Mods can deliver a combination of factory-quality and handwired circuits and tone.
If anything, you can count on Anthony to keep developing and pushing the envelope, working on some very cool stuff now!
Maybe you'll get a glimpse at the Amp Expo ;) :D

Oh and by the way:
Egnater is also coming with new modular stuff apparently, modules and amps.
To what degree it will be "new" or just more of the same (which is awesome) we'll have to wait.

If they'd just release that E2 I'd be happy! :)

Any news when will they be out!? an affordable version of mod50 would rule 8)

It would surely be the beginning of the end times.... :)

Most likely there will me NO MORE Randall modules. I think the Ian's will be the end of the line. From what I have been told nobody can get stock modules and the Ian's are mostly made to special order for stored. The line is deader than dead.

That's not good! I thought these Modules were the best thing ever! now there being discontinued?

I don't think they are even producing stock modules anymore. Funkymunky told me basically 1 guy is making the Ian modules just as special orders for stores. One of my friends wanted an UXL and he talked to another online store that caries Randall and they told him they couldn't get anymore modules from Randall. So the whole thing is a mystery. I talked to Joe Dalaney at NAMM and I asked if the line was dead and all he would say is the Ians were coming out. The entire company and all there divisions basically cut everything back. Everyone the was at Randall during the MTS days have all quit and moved to other amp companies.

Isn't Salvation getting stock modules from Randall?

Ask Salvation. If he got a batch I doubt it was new blackface ones but I don't think he has been getting his doner's from Randall that are new.
