I'm a General Contractor and have met with potential clients that for example where real ******** to there wife in front of me, I chose not to take the work regardless of the money because of this. Being self employed I have this option. I'm on Pete's side on this one. I have electrical experience with the old Iron doing projects since i was 7-8ish and consider myself capable of doing many of these mods , like a lot of home owners are capable of doing alot of the service i provide but I'm not going to go explain to them how to do it or show them,even for a price, although i have ,and do consulting, so they can go on and start there own business or take some of mine. I do work with home owners who want to do some of there own finishing mud or painting. I will stick to simple L.E.D changes and repairing solder joints. Pete has a skill and has spent long hours getting to where he has recognition for his work. I still want your XTC w/all mods with red face/creme pointer knobs. Thumbs up for Pete for not whoring himself out just for a few bucks.

Hell yeah, that's what I was thinking. First when I was mad "shouldn't pete be working on people's mods" then "God, I don't wanna do this either." I'm going to my MTS right now and hopefully pete will agree to stop posting about this too as it's really in his best interest. I don't have much to lose but it's his business so the uglier it gets the worse it is for him. Good thing is that not many people are on now as it's late. Hopefully this will be a dead thread by tomorrow morning. Maybe Pete should go and post in other threads to bury this one now.

Yeah, I figured he'd apologize since I Did a few times but for whatever reason he still hasn't.

Shred, I'm sorry you see it that way but if you noticed, Most of the stuff I said was just responses to what he said. I don't think I came out saying much other than how he didn't answer his messages and then strung me along only to suddenly do a 180 when he read my messages about wanting to learn about the craft. I simply pointed out the hippocriticism of his statements and corrected them. He then brought our emails into it which I wasn't going to do and I had to stand up for myself.

Jlbaxe, maybe you didn't read all of it as I said that I told him that it wasn't really even about learning how to do mods as I really just wanted some good tones and even told him he could paint over the parts if wished. The problem I had with him was that he was a jerk about it, scolding me out of the blue when he finally read my mails after a long time of me planning that he was making a module for me. I wouldn't work with a jerk either. I'm sure I was annoying to him but as I see it, that's what he gets for not answering my emails or questions about what I did wrong or how we can fix it.

In response to pete, I'm sorry you chose to post again instead of getting past this. I wasn't going to respond to anything but after reading this it appears to me that your tone is hostile so here it goes...

It's interesting you say you find it funny that I chose to tell people about it. Even though I don't believe you actually laughed or found it funny, I hope it is true that I am the only person you have pissed off. You should hope I am the last because if you continue to have the attitude you do, I'll be the least of your worries. Speaking of worries, don't you have better things to do? As for you saying that you thought I was putting this on grailtone for you to scramble and beg to take it off, you are sorely mistaken. My only objective was to resolve this and get my module. That shows the way you think. I don't do things the way you obviously do. That and threatening to forward my name to other people to "warn" them that shows how you do business. There's a big difference between posting in the forums and having an exchange between you and I and actively smearing people where behind their backs where they have no chance at rebuttal. That is a low level, Pete. If I were you, I'd spend that time answering my emails since that's what started all this. Peace.

If you ever need one of my standard mods or something a little simpler, give me a shot. I like a challenge, I just try not to promise someone something I'm not sure about. Also have a new mts mod I'm going to try once everyone in my queue is cleared out.

It's funny you say I wasn't sincere in the apologies because even through the argument, I was sincere and my apologies were from my heart. I apologized in parts of at least one or two emails to Pete that weren't shown. He knows that.

However, Reading back on my posts, they came off a lot harsher than I meant for. I guess that's what Pete didn't like. Looking back I can see why. You couldn't judge how sincere I am without hearing the tone of my voice. I think that's where all this started. Mistakes that wouldn't happen if we were talking and vibing instead of typing on this cold machine.

Anyway, like I said, I apologized for a few things but Pete hasn't. I feel he is in the wrong but I also overreacted and therefore am in the wrong too. In my opinion, I don't think I owe him any more than he owes me. However, I do feel we owe one another apologies so I'll start first. Anyway, here goes.

Pete, I feel we had a misunderstanding and I felt I was wronged and cheated out of something I really wanted and was very excited about over a misunderstanding. I felt at least I was owed an explanation and to have my questions answered before going our seperate ways. I figured the only way to get one was to force a response by bringing it into the open in the forum. I felt it was unfair the way I was treated and I guess I decided that I'd return the favor. For that I'm sorry. I felt that you wouldn't hear me out so I made you. The funny thing is All I wanted was to have you say you were sorry for yelling at me and believe me that I wasn't trying to copy your mods but wanted to play them.

Anyway, I got a dave friedman modded module and so I'm pretty excited about that. Funny thing is I've never even heard a Pete mod so I have no idea what it sounds like. I wonder how similar, if at all.

I guess after last night having a new president and looking forward to so many good things I realized that this is the best way to go about this. Like they say, the person who holds the grudge or doesn't apologize is actually holding a grude or not accepting themselves. So I guess in the end I'm doing this for myself as much as I am for anyone.

Honestly this thread made me sick. It is a waste of everyones time. We are all busy we all have emails and phone calls to get to, bills to pay, guitars to play, house repairs the list goes on.

So why the hell wirte about how someone wronged you by not responding to you, Why cuz you think the world owes you an explanation, or you somehow got deemed preseident of your "I'm more important than you club". You know what I asked Pete a question about a month or so ago and never heard a Reply and ya know what I could care less, I know why CUZ HE'S FREAKING BUSY DUMB ***. It was about your Ultra Lead mod, but i got rid of that module anyway so the question/answer would be irrelevant. Dont even sweat it man, if i really needed that question answerd i would have been more persistant. I did not even think twice about it cuz you have answered a million of my questions with "0" delay. But thank you for being sincere.

I do however have an Ultra that I might like modded by you if you are available in the near future, Just your basic Ultra upgrade that everyone loves, nothing fancy LOL.

This is the same thing with me being a diesel tech for Ford and someone asking me how to do something the easy way. F- U there is a reason the job took an engineer 4 hours but i figured out a way to do it in 2.5 and make me some money. I went to school, busted my knuckles. got trained, got my *** beat by hard to figure out trucks. Pete, keep the mods to yourself. You busted your ***, you took the time to figure everything out, why tell someone. (you can tell me LoL). I respect Pete for the work he does, when i have the extra coin, I will mod ALL of my modules.

IMHO i am blown away by Pete's mods. THANK GOD pete is here for Randall amps because i will NEVER get rid of this head.

It worked As for deleting the thread, I think that's a good idea, however Pete said he doesn't want to bury it so take it for what it's worth. I actually was going to delete all the posts about pete when he apologized. I still will.

What an ignorant statement. You want to smack me and sharing knowledge is dumb? That about says it all but I'll indulge you and try to explain like I did with Pete.

You obviously didn't read and/or comprehend the whole thread, and also you didn't get to read anything but snippets of the emails after they got nasty. As I stated, I wanted to learn from him and asked him in my emails to please not paint over the parts. I expected him to eaither say "yes, i'll help you" or "no I don't want to share that but I'll do you a module" but he did neither. I tried to fix things by explaining that I meant no wrong and he could paint them over I just wanted a module but he didn't care. This is where my problem with him is, plain and simple. You are focusing on the **** about "oh he didn't respond or read my **** blah blah blah" but that's just an argument and if you look, he started that **** by posting the times of emails and their contents etc. I wasn't going to do that. He took it to that level so I stood up for myself.
