Honestly this thread made me sick. It is a waste of everyones time. We are all busy we all have emails and phone calls to get to, bills to pay, guitars to play, house repairs the list goes on.

So why the hell wirte about how someone wronged you by not responding to you, Why cuz you think the world owes you an explanation, or you somehow got deemed preseident of your "I'm more important than you club". You know what I asked Pete a question about a month or so ago and never heard a Reply and ya know what I could care less, I know why CUZ HE'S FREAKING BUSY DUMB ***. Im pretty sure Petes married and im pretty sure she is number one not some prick with a hard on for some mods. So if you wanna be a big man like you say you are you shoulda said sorry and thats that, no more no less. You can keep going on about how noone is seeing your side of it but actually noone cares now that you have dragged it on an on an on an on!!!!

Someone should delete this thread this kind of negativity is why our society is socialy retarted.

Ok why write about someone wronging you... I could respond to that with good reasons but first off why dont you take your own advice and not post about how pissed off you are at me for writing about someone wronging me.

I don't think that responding to each email is dragging on and on. My viewpoint has not changed and therefore I will defend it and stand up to anyone who acts like an *******. You sir are acting like an *******. great Pete didn't respond to you, does that make your situation anything like mine? NO. I went for a week making plans about having a certain module etc. and not trying to mod it cuz I figured it'd be right when I got it and waiting to record cuz I'd have "the killer sound" as everyone says and then after writing pages of exactly what I want etc, he finally goes back and reads it and gets caught up on the fact that I want to learn about what he does and gets all pissed off at me etc. you should know the story by now. That is enough to get me pissed off, but his reason for not doing it was non-existant as I told him to paint over it if he wanted, that I didn't care but he didn't respond and also he says how his mods are all different and if I learned how to do it it wouldn't matter but that it does and he's mad that I want to learn how he does it. That is just illogical and nonsensical. So, before you start calling people names and telling them what they should do (I was nice enough to apologize for what I did wrong but I don't see you saying Pete should apologize for his part) And if you think that there's only one party wrong, I've got news for you, in life 99% of the time both parties are to blame in some capacity for everything. If you're young, you'll learn that I hope and if you're older, I really am saddened by your inexperience and attitude.
If you don't like it then don't read it. If you think i'm dragging it on, then stop writing in this thread like I asked. I respond to each post about me as I feel I need to. It's called standing up for yourself and what you believe in. I'm sorry that my viewpoint doesn't change and "drags on and on and on" but that just means that I believe what I say and defend it. I can see how you'd say that. I was raised by a woman so of course I probably argue like one. However most of those were just me responding to what Pete posted, which I unfortunately had to since he was putting one thing and I saw it a totally different way.

Again though, please read all the posts as I don't know where this opinion of me being entitled to their hard work and experience. It must be from Pete posting just snippets of our emails, again something I wouldn't do and am against.

You didn't see the emails. They were all cordial on my part till the end. I didn't say or do anything until the first post here. I just vented, then he responded and me and so forth.

FOR EVERYONE WHO IS STILL FOLLOWING THIS AND (for God's sake, please move on) AS IT WAS JUST SAID BY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS, HAD A HARD TIME FOLLOWING, READ THIS FOR A SHORT VERSION OF MY SIDE OF THE STORY AND WHY I FEEL DISSED SINCE SO MANY PEOPLE ARE LATCHING ONTO THE ARGUMENT AND THINK THAT I'M BITCHING ABOUT PETE NOT SHARING WITH ME HIS SECRETS, WHICH IS NOT THE CASE.

Like I said before, in the emails I told him I wanted to learn from him but would not copy. I was just interested in how he does it. I asked him to leave it open to show me if he would but that my guitar playing was the top priority and modding is just a means to me get a tone. When he said he did mind, I told him that's ok, I don't mind and he can paint over it or whatever he does. He then told me he wouldn't work with me and wouldn't tell me why.

My issue was why wasn't my word as good as the other people he works with (i know he asked some people not to share the mods, but of course they would know what he does by just looking at it) AND if he doesn't believe me, then why can't he just paint over the mods or whatever he wanted? I just wanted an answer.

He left me with "I don't think it'd be a good idea for us to work together, my wait time is a long time and I don't think you could wait for it" - Not exactly "I don't want to make a module for you"

When he wouldnt respond to my "I can wait, It's not a big deal" and "Please give me a reply so I know one way or the other" emails, I felt the only course of action was to post on the boards.

So, I went to the closest thing to a problem with pete and wrote down everything I could think of that made me feel wronged about it.

That's all.


So everyone,
Please let this rest. You are doing a great disservice to Pete's business by putting this to the top of the boards every time you post. If you are truly his friend, you should think about that. I'm not even his friend but I wouldn't wish anything bad upon his business, so let's respect that and Pete, okay? I've moved on and I'm sure Pete will too. We're cool, at least I am with him. I said my peace. I have forgiven him too. After all, I'm a musician, not a hater. This has been blown way out. Let us enjoy this board rather than argue.

I don't see this as possibly damaging to Pete's business, the biggest problem anyone has had, up until your problem, was attracting his attention 'coz he is so busy...not to mention the stellar reputation he has on a number of guitar and amp discussion boards.

Pete's a grown man, can take care of himself and hos business...I really don't think he needs your 'advice.'

After reading most of your post, I can see why Pete did not want to work with you.

Pete ALWAYS returned all of my emails. you would just need to be patience.
He plays in a very busy band, works a full time job, and mods modules on the side.

BTW, just received my Pete modded XTC and Mr. Scary and WOW!!!!!

Pete... i'm sure you do great work man and some day if I could afford it I may want a mod... but really... everyone just drop it... it was a misunderstanding and MUZ just doesn't know how to SHUT UP... it will always be his way or no way... I have a good feeling he's a good guy... just likes to hear himself talk WAY TOO MUCH!!!

Muz... just drop it... say you're sorry and be done... if he works with you... be short sweet and to the point... everything in life doesn't have to be so complex.

Pete I totally respect your business, individuality AND privacy... just maybe tell him where he can learn from if your not going to tell him... give him a good book to read. We've read his... maybe if you give him a good book to read he'll stop pestering you and everyone else on here. I'm sure you learned from somewhere, somebody, some book, some thing...

Muz... if he's done with you be done... end of story... there are plenty of people in this world that do tube amp modifications... I'm sure someone will teach you or you can find a book somewhere on how to do it.

I emailed pete yesterday about 4 of my modules and various mods and a little custom work.

He had emailed me back with very complete answers within a half hour and even mentioned that there was no rush at all.

After a few emails I'm gonna be sending my 1086 and modern to him tomrrow. :twisted:
