so i wanted to jam and i switched on the amp, waited 10 mins as usual and flipped the play switch and nothing
so i checked all cords and fuses then i noticed the ohms switch moved slightly to the right and so i put it back on 8 and still nothing
now i get no sound out of the amp.
any one know how to fix this?  :?:

A slingshot(just kidding)fuses would be a good place and I think the RM100 has a few inside too.

pulled all the fuses and they are good i didn't know there are fuses inside
how do you take the chassis out? hope my warranty is still good after i installed a green LED strip to the roof of the head which is tapped into the fan power. but that has nothing to do with my problem cause ive used it like that for 5 months

I had something like this happen - the wires going to the standby switch on were loose (they were clamped on to terminals, not soldered). I'd look there first. Also, there are several fuses on the inside of the amp that could have blown - I'd test those also.

The inside of these amps is a bit much if you haven't messed with amps before - I'd think about taking it to a tech or friend who knows a bit more about the inside of amps, especially if you can't figure out how to get the chassis out. I'm NOT insulting you, just stating that if you have trouble with that, you probably haven't poked around in too many amps and I'd hate to see you get hurt to save a few bucks. A decent tech should be able to figure it out if it's just a fuse or something like that for a minimum bench charge, or see if there is a randall repair center nearby that could cover it under warranty.

hey did you get your amp back yet. I had the exact same problem a while back. A loud pop, then everything on, but no sound. The repair guy said he replaced the board (?), but didn't know what caused it. I've remained curious about what it was.
