Local tech...I got before and after pics....I'm thinking the wire bundle could use another tie wrap..but pretty clean job...especially as the fuse holders had to be transplanted.

All I got to do now is replace the power LED.

Sell the MOD50..I dunno man, I *love* those amps too :lol:

I would love to have me some RM fiffy.....you got the ability to get the massive headroom with KT-88's......and the amp doesn't way a cabillion pounds like the 100.....

I got 'em for my other setup (Egnater and 2x12) but it's too much low end..as are all of the KT-88/6550 for that setup...running the Svet 6550s in the Randall \m/

They're 3mm but I gots it...thanks for thinking of me tho.

Actually, I made a classic mistake...repaired the LED..tested it on the bench..then glued it in place (there's no bracket internally)...and re-inserted the chassis....didn't test it.

..so, first time I powered it up....the LED doesn't work again...LOL

Cool rig. I would like to hear an M50 with KT88s. By the way, does anybody know the weight of the RM50 head? The RM100 weight is also way too much for me, as somebody else mentioned.

I weighed my MOD50 last night....should be similar to the RM50HB and that weighed in at approx. 38lbs without modules...40lbs with.

Thanks JKD. Not as much as I thought, considering that I read somewhere that the RM100 weighed 68 lbs. That's waaaaaay too much for the local gigs I do.

+1 Thats my only complaint with my RM100...Too Heavy (and small low end). Is all the weight because of the "world Voltage Selector"? Who cares about that stupid thing. If I were to gig overseas, Id rent a rig over there. Randall needs to ditch that thing and shed some pounds.

Anyone complaining the RM100 doesn't have enough low end either needs to change ther cab/speakers or go play 4/5 big thick strings instead of 6 or 7 :lol:

Nice set up. Looks sharp. ru doing 6550's in both the RT and RM50? You can come visit your Mod when ever you get to the east coast. I will post sum pics when she arrives and joins the RIG.
