RM50 Combo problems

I recieved my RM50 combo yesterday with a few problems...

First, when I plugged in, their was barely any signal coming through and it sounded TERRIBLE. The sound was just kinda farting through, with lots of buzz, and was popping terribly.

I replaced the preamp tubes, and that didnt do a thing. Still had the fart sound.

So then I replaced the power tubes as well (with the same type, EL34's) and the amp started to get "better" signal (still farty though) then the amp just died. I have no LED's coming on, no fan, signal, nothing.

I'm thinking and hoping it's just a fuse, but wanted to get some more input from anybody who had some ideas.

I think if it was a fuse you'd get no sound at all.

Well, I replaced the main fuse, got some contact cleaner and cleaned up the tube sockets really good, then checked the bias. Apparently it was biased EXTREMEMELY cold, so I juiced it up and now it's playing like a champ! I was pretty danged worried for a bit :lol:

Man, I LOVE this combo!
