I just purchased an RT100H. I am trying to bias the tubes but the bias knob on the back only rotates so far clockwise to bring the mv's down. I have adjusted it down to 54mv so I still need to bring it down more. Can I remove the tubes and reset the knob so I can adjust it down futher? This is my first tube amp so I am a newbie with this whole process, thanks for any help.....

You confused me when you said it only goes so far clockwise and it was at 54mv I was like whoa! lol. I don't think it would hurt to remove the tubes and try it like you stated.

forgive me if i am misinterpreting what you are saying. you turn the dial counterclockwise to lower the bias and clockwise to raise the bias. refer to the user manual for the suggested values for the tubes you are using.

I tried the same thing but counterclockwise, it only went down to 45mv. same question here, should I remove the tubes, adjust the pot when the amp is off, put in the tubes and adjust it again to try and lower the voltage?
