During the last amp ordeal that brought me here.... I found some information regarding new tubes
New Sensor makes: Sovtek, EHX, Tung Sol, Mullard, Gold Lion, Svetlana S marked == basically all Russian made tubes except the Winged Cs.
Svetlana SED makes: =c=
JJ Electronics: JJs and the relabeled tube with the CZ suffix (Ruby, GT)
Shuguang: all Chinese tubes used in amps
Basically four manufacturers. Blackburn is supposed to be getting the old UK Mullard plant producing again making ECC83s. Their website is up but I haven't seen anything since.
The advantage of Ruby Tubes is screening and a six month warranty. Eurotubes I usually get the next day.
