Ultra Mod

So I modded my Ultra with the 500pf cap instead of the normal caps and it sounds effin awesome... Instead of doing it to the recto I tried it on the Ultra and it was sweet... It really fattened up the bottom end. I thought the Ultra with the .0001 cap mod sound to mushy wasnt my thing til i did this...

I'd have to agree with ya on that one. My stock Ultra is a touch loose in the low end (especially in drop D) for my tastes.

My parametric eq has a 80Hz HP on it that I leave engaged and that gets me just about exactly where I want to be. I still have Pea-lenty of depth, without being too loose.
