I would never have guessed that was a Randall. Cool vibe. I dig the drummer although I would prefer he mixes up the rhythm a bit with more toms. Your vocalist kinda reminded me of the guy from Prong, which is weird. I couldn't understand a word in those songs.

It does seem odd that I can spend $2.00 on parts and improve the sound of my Rectified module. At least to my ears it's better, and it doesn't even have the Okstrat masterwork touch!

I use a POD X3 Live in 4 cable mode. I'm running it through a RM 50B combo 1x12. I don't think their effects sound good in mono, in fact they suck. However, in headphones it sounds pretty good. Maybe I just need another cab and run it in stereo. Dunno.

Sounds like Ultra XL or Ultra to me, but I don't own either.

I don't know what the RG sounds like but people seem to like the Ultra (different from the Ultra XL). The 1086 and Rectifier/Recto/Treadplate probably aren't what you want. Also the Mr. Scary or KH2/3 series are worth thinking about for a more Soldano/Marshall sound.

GtrGeorge, yes there was an article that mentioned he used a modded Top Boost and a XTC for the Ogre Tones album in a RM20. In fact, I can get his current high gain tone with a XTC no problem. Just add chorus to it. I also have a setup on my Line6 POD X3 that gets the Cigarettes/Dogman sound...

I know Ty used a RM20 with a XTC and modded Top Boost module on Ogre Tones. The rest I don't know about.
