I've never heard of an issue regarding the switching the RM4. I've personally experienced no issues or delays switching my RM4 or RM100.

I believe Randall originally specified 250ma, but later changed to 400ma. I recall Bruce posting that you could use 400ma, as well. The 315ma fuses you have on order should be fine. But if they do blow, try 400ma.

Yup, you could start with Radio Shack. They carry fuses, but I don't know for sure if they have this specific value.

Sounds pretty good. All the modes have good gain and tone variation - especially the first 3 modes. You can hear the incremental gain increase as you step through the modes. Since you left the tone controls the same for the demo, I'm sure you can get each mode to sound even better by tweaking...

Couple simple things to check: Any ground lift switches on any of the rack devices, that may have gotten bumped? Maybe one of your cords are bad? Good luck.

Nice tone comparison. The darkness of the SL+ is evident in the clips. I have tried several mods to give the SL+ some more hi-end, but it is still not to where I'd like it to be. I'm guessing the Mr Scary module is based on the same pcb as the SL+. Does anyone know if this is true and if so...

I'd go for a "ball-bearing" fan rather than a "sleeve-bearing" fan if it were me - the $12 Newegg fan has a sleeve-bearing. A ball-bearing fan will be more expensive, but I think they are worth the extra dough. A sleeve-bearing fan will work OK, but will not last as long as a ball-bearing fan...
