An Engl style module? Before I got my RM100 I was really wanting an Engl Fireball or Blackmore but never wanted to lay out the cash. Do any of the stock modules or modded ones have this type of tone? Could I maybe get this type of tone from a current module and a pedal? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Pretty sure salvation makes an ANGEL module (think it is called) that would cover those tones..

There is a lot of "this year" left, could you give me a somewhat narrower time frame? I already have 2 of your modules and really like them. I wouldn't mind a third, but I don't want to have to wait until December to get what I want. :wink:

Tough to give something specific, but I would estimate within the next 3-6 months. I just got my turnaround back to 2 weeks from 3 to 4 and once that's a touch more manageable the R&D machine will fire up again. The first 2 releases should be within the next month.

The Salvation Angel was one of the first modules I ordered when moving over to the MTS series and it's amazing, IMO. It captures the Engl tone perfectly, so much so that I sold my Engl amp (Screamer 50).

I'm a huge fan of Engl amps because they're the perfect blend of British & German engineering: Super high gain but with clarity. I'd highly recommend an Angel.

I always thought of Engl as one of the better balances between Marshall and Mesa in terms of tone
