Im going to buy new ones. Because I just broke one. Ill explain later.
I recall reading the 250mA are really too small. I havent found the thread where this was discussed about using a larger rated one. Any help?

Thank you fellow mod slinger! I ended up buying 315mA fuses. Only thing the shack had that was close. Guess I will order some 400mA.
Its wierd though. When I bought my amp it came with a pair of JJs and a pair of GTs. One of the JJs wasnt glowing when I turned it on. So I put in a set of EHs in place of the JJs. Biased up and it was rollin!
Well not to talk bad of the seller he told me the tubes should be fine. So I started thinking maybe they were. So this evening I put them in. One was still not glowing but I attempted to try and bias. The one not glowing was in POS3. The one not glowing would show a bias, so I turned it off and put the GTs back in. The GT in POS3 wasnt glowing. Went to set bias and heard a POP. Then the light come on saying a bad tube in POS.2 but it was still glowing. Turned it off and pulled the fuse in POS2. It was blown. POS3 fuse was good.
So what went wrong? Is POS2 tube bad? Why wasnt POS3 tube glowing?

You may have had a heater short to cathode failure. That would explain
no heater glow. You can check for internal tube shorts either in (some) tube testers or, if you're patient, with a DMM or VOM. The fuses for the bias pots are for plate current draw. There are internal fuses on the power supply
board for the heaters. You can have plate voltage on the heaters from a defective tube and not blow a fuse if there is no path to ground for the HV.

I called randall and they said they use 400's now. these should work. I bought some myself.
