KH-1 to SuperClean?

Im on the fence about turning my kh-1 into a superclean but i need the input gain reduction in the kh-1 because i use active pickups on my main axe has anyone had any experience with the superclean and actives? i need alot of clean volume with no distortion!

You can still have the gain reduction in front, as long as you or the designated modifier knows which components that are involved in achieving this effect and keep them as they are.

If a superclean is what you're after, just let Rob know when you order it if you're worried about it, he'll hook you up. Athough I have a "stock" superclean, and use axes with both EMG 707s and an 81/85 combo.....and I haven't had any problems yet.

I have both kh1 & super clean I use a lot of guitars with emgs no problem on the super clean at all. I like my super clean but I also like my kh1 a lot that's why I have both one in my rm100 kh and my rm100

IMO most of the marshal/fender modules (mod ones) sound well at low gain high volume ( plexi, tweed, bf, kh1, even some mesa tones at very low gain settings). Some exceptions though.
