RANDALL MTS MODULE SAMPLES HERE!

Jim, just out of curiousity what type of files did you upload those sound clips as? I tried them on both my computer as well as my girlfriend's computer, and they were coming up as playlist files for iTunes. They weren't really working for Windows Media Player, so I just wanted to check to see what extention you used to save the mp3s? If they were saved as playlist files it makes it harder to play as they search for them in iTunes, but if it's saved with a .mp3 file extension they play instantaneously through Windows Media Player (unless you are using a Mac maybe?). Thanks sir, I look forward to checking out all of the clips!

are simply .m3u files, which link to the MP3s making them "stream" instead of being buffered like normal MP3s.

Usually the .m3u way works for most people, if you're having issues though, go to the first link and you'll find the actual MP3s.

They are encoded at 320k, so they are pretty big; but I didn't want the MP3 compression to affect the tone much.

yeah,we really appreciate the clips that you provided,Jim.it gave me a great sense of what a few of the other modules,that i havent tried out, sound like.thanks a million!!! btw,i have the reg. Ultra module along with a Clean module in my RM50hb head.i had the .001u cap mod done to my Ultra module by Randall,which was easy since i live about 30 minutes away from them,and that greatly improved the tone.it really tightened up the bass and took away some of the excess bottom end woofy-ness(nice word,huh?)and made this module a metal chug monster.i,also,heard an Ultra module with the .022u cap mod done and it sounded just fine,as well.the Ultra module is a really great unit & pretty versatile.with the gain down some,it'll do some nice plexi/hot-rodded jcm800 tones and with the gain set higher at about 2 o'clock,it crushes out anything from 80's speed/thrash metal to death metal!!! i dont think this module gets the attention it deserves due to the limited Randall website clips...gotta hear in person!!!
