Anyone have a mod for the fx loop, to switch between line level and instrument level????

Any more info on this? I'm about to buy a line shifter, and I'd really rather not haul around another peice of gear.

Ok, we need to revive this thread. The problem with finding line level pedals is that not all pedals are created equal here...nor are all line level loops. I want to be able to use my pedal board and the amp without my wet/dry rig which is ano extra cab, rack, power amp. I don't really use the rack for anything other than delay so i'm interested in just using pedals and a loop. Did this ever get addressed? Is there a mod i can do myself on the loop??? Let's get this topic trending again....

I just spoke with a certain US modder that has somthing 99% done for the modular amps to fix a few problems including an adjustable loop for this very problem. More details to come, his company sounds like with faded Snake.

The Egnater loop gadget works very well and is pretty much transparent; much more so than the Ebtech line level shifter. It's a real problem solver.

lol I hope so! This fxloop is seriously the one big X I have against these amps and is very limited for those of us that prefer pedals. I honestly just like tweaking pedals better than presets..

Probably cheaper and easier than a mod.

Yeah but catch with the egnator gadget is it needs a wall wart and more cables. Not knocking it by any means, but I'd personally rather have it in the amp. The mod I'm talking about will be with a couple other really awesome and totally useful mods to the amp itself. It will be very affordable. in my opinion. Only downside is a matter of shipping the amp which could be a deal breaker for some. The loop adjustment will also be adjustable via pot. From my conversation with the man, should be released very soon.
Stay tuned, I don't wanna spill the beans.

Yeah that's a deal breaker for me in Canada shipping this beast of a lynchbox. Maybe i can convince JF to let me install it myself unless there are a lot of changes that need to be made. Look forward to the announcement either way though..

Rob's right down the street from where I work.... can't wait to drop off my RM100 for the mod.

Radial EXTC non-500 series coming soon...

Has anybody tried one of these yet? They are pretty new and I don't even know how much they cost or what retailers carry them. MSRP is $110, but street price should be less:

Here is a link to the manual:

It is based on the ebtech Line Level Shifter with the addition of a ground switch.

Nevermind.. missed the 2nd half of the post.. Carry on wayward sons....

This would be ideal! surprised more manufacturers don't have a go at this..

Morley makes Ebtech; I'm pretty sure it is the Line Level Shifter with a different color housing. The LLS cancels ground hum as well maybe they just put an internal switch and that's the only difference? The LLS wasn't bad but I felt it did color the tone slightly. The Egnater loop gadget is much more transparent.
