    So I got my RM22 last year, found one for sale on Reverb and it was NOS. Ever since I pulled it out of the box, the boost feature hasn't done anything. I see the boost light for the active channel and can hear a soft 'click', but no change in volume or tone at all. That doesn't sound right...

    What speakers are most of you using in your RM rigs?

    That's a great cab! Mine is loaded with Celestion G12M-70's, I'd like to try an X-pattern with Eminence Wizards.

    Has anyone compared Salvation's 'Pit Viper' to a real Cobra?

    How does the pit viper stack up? The clips sound cool, but I haven't heard any reviews from anyone who has had a chance to play both.

    KH23 vs Pete Modded Recto

    I have a stock KH3 and a JF Modded Recto. They both sound totally different. Different midrange voicings and different gain structures...get both:)

    Mod my 1086 or go for an XL

    I have the UXL and its great - I wish it was just a *bit* clearer though. However, cranking up the volume clears things up nicely. You might also want to check out the KH3, dialed in right it's brutal. I play mostly in B and drop C, both these modules handle the lows very well.

    Cool find with the Recto Mod

    My stock Recto sounded good boosted with my BBE Green Screamer (an 808 clone). I had it modded by Jaded Faith recently, and now it absolutely kills. *Huge* improvement in tone and clarity over the stock mod.

    I came across a few forum posts where people were talking about a Framus Cobra styled module. Whats this about? Is this a custom job or something in the works at Randall??

    KH3 or Ultra XL?

    I've got both and they're both really different. The KH3 is clearer, tighter, not quite as gainy The UltraXL is thicker, chunkier, and has a ton of gain. Get both.
