Yep, talked to a Synergy rep and it looks like none of the Fryette-designed modules have the channel or cathode switch. So much for their commitment to backwards compatibility :roll:

Hey guys, been a LONG time since I've posted around here, but I'm planning to pick up an RM100 soon and I'd heard that the Synergy modules were fully backwards compatible with the old Randall/Egnater stuff, which the exception that the Randall stuff can't switch channels on them without a mod...

What are the major tonal differences between these? I'm debating trading for one, but I really need something that can fill the gap between a Clean module and an SL+. Not looking for anything particularly high gain, just something nice for classic rock, etc. Also, how well to each clean up?

Are you sure the fuse is fine? Did you replace with a new one? Often times, preamp tubes don't glow very brightly, it's highly unlikely that all 3 died at the same time.

Interesting, I never knew this. Been thinking about picking up one of those AT-112s for a while just for the hell of it since they're so cheap right now :wink:

The SL+ module really reminds me of the Splawn Nitro I used to have.

Awesome, I have an E-LP-92SD and I really like it. I haven't played any of my other guitars since I got it :lol:

I really like my SL+, but haven't tried the others. I have an XTC and 1086 module as well, and the SL+ is by far my favorite.
