my current live Margot & the Nuclear So and So's rig:
Randall Amplifiers rm50, (egnater) with stock SL+ and PLEXI modules
kustom 2x10
65 mustang,
82 stratocaster
MXR , True Effects Pedals(i am endorsed by them, and they are awesome..they built me a ross compressor/klon/boost 3 in 1 pedal)
Boss Effects Pedals , ross, guyatone,Proco Rat ,ibanez phaser , Electro-Harmonix , etc...
so.....getting to my question.
i did my first run of shows with my new amp (i am a long time super reverb player) i noticed it was pretty hissy when not playing. really couldnt notice once we all got playing, but i was wondering if this may be a bias adjustment? or should i seek out different, quieter modules? most of my overdrive/distortion comes from my pedals.and i am not relying on the amp for drive but just for the awesome sturdiness, roadworthy build and great tone...but the hiissss kinda bugged me...
